About CEU/PDA

Yes, starting with the 2025/27 Cohort, the Neijing Nature-Based Medicine 2-Year Postgraduate Mentorship Training is certified with the California Acupuncture Board.

The year-long course provides 100 credits for the Online Lecture Series; 10 credits per quarter for the recorded lectures and 15 credits per quarter for the live Sunday discussions. In addition, each week-long Clinical Practicum is worth 36 credits.

FOR CALIFORNIA CREDITS:

Please note that the California Acupuncture Board requires that all live classes be attended in full in order to receive any credits for the live lectures throughout the semester. Watching recordings of the live classes is not accepted. In order to maximize potential credits we have divided up this portion of the certification; however, the number of credits received will be reflective of your attendance to live zoom lectures.

FOR NCCAOM:

As of 2019, NCCAOM has moved all certification activity to digital delivery. Instead of issuing paper or PDF certificates, Apricot Grove, as a provider of the courses, logs in to the NCCAOM Provider portal and submits electronic verification of each Diplomate who successfully completes the course requirements. The Diplomate can then log in to their NCCAOM Diplomate portal and view and retrieve certification.

FOR CALIFORNIA:

The California Acupuncture Board does still work with certificates. You will be sent a PDF CEU certificate that you then submit to the CAP on your own.

Once you have submitted your application, the process to verify your participation and successful completion of the requirements (quizzes) usually takes about 2-3 weeks, but we work hard to issue credit as soon as possible.

At this time, the course does not provide Ethics & Safety CEU/PDA credits.

We offer a course completion certificate for either the Online Lecture Series only, or for the Full Neijing Nature-Based Medicine Training. This is different from CEU/PDA certification. The certificate is delivered as a high resolution PDF and ready for framing in your office or clinic.

In order to be eligible for the course completion certificate, you must successfully complete all the requirements of the Online Lecture Series (same as applying for CEU/PDA). For the Full Training certificate, you must also attend all Clinical Practicums.
